Writing Samples

Here are a few samples of my writing from both my gender studies minor as well as my film/media studies. Samples include a research paper from a gendered perspective of disability, while others analyze films across several genres.

Both of these writing samples were part of a final paper about Lucy Grealy's Autobiography of a Face. In the paper, I discuss the book and Julia Kristeva's Theory of Abjection. The paper is split into two parts, and I am currently editing the paper for possible publication in a scholarly journal.
